2. General Information about Festival Area
Area
The Klangbad festival takes places at two locations facing each other. The main festival site is located on a peninsula of danube river. There you can find two stages, the catering tent, drinks and food providers and so on. The open-air festival area is closing down after the last concert in the evening. From 1 o'clock the party continues at the canteen, which is located highly visible opposite to the festival site on the area of the old Scheer paper factory. There, you'll find a big courtyard, bars and two floors with DJs. With your festival ticket, you'll get free entrance to the canteen, without one the entrance is 7 euros for both floors together.

Entrance/Arrival
At the entrance you can find our box office. There you can trade your festival tickets for festival wristlets. With such a wristlet, you'll be granted access to the festival area and the canteen area (night programme).
Upon entrance, our security is instructed to check your festival wristlet, additionally they'll check and see that nobody enters the festival area with their own bottles, cans or other containers. We are a small festival and have to fund ourselves also through selling drinks and food, so we hope for your understanding that we'll only allow drinks and food that have been sold by us at really fair prices.
Pets/Animals
Please, save your pets and yourselves from the stress! So better don't bring them in at all.
Safety and Information Terminals
The german red cross and the firefighters support our festival and will be on-site with their teams. At the festival site, there'll also be a info booth, where you can get timetables and lots of other infos. Please, take care of your stuff. If something gets lost, in the best case it should reappear at or be given to the info booth so owners are able to get their stuff back.
Drugs
Don't take drugs with you to Scheer. The Klangbad festival will also be opening your mind without any drugs. Police and marshals will be also on-site.
Responsibility
Every visitor is responsible for damages or injuries caused through him. Restrictions of the german "Jugendschutzgesetz" (Law for youth protection) apply.
3. General Information about Camping
Camping at Klangbad festival from thursday till monday is absolutely free! No camping fees, no garbage feesm, nothing. This is quite unique and we are happy that this has been working for the past 7 years. To help us keeping the camping free, pleasy stick to some rules:
Camping site arrival times:
Thursday: 15 - 22 o'clock
Friday: from 10 o'clock
Saturday: from 10 o'clock
Sunday: from 10 o'clock
The firemen will guide you upon arrival at Scheer. With your car: Please first park your car at our parking sites, the camping site is just a short walk away. For motor campers and trailers there's an extra site which will be offered to you upon arrival.
2010, we are offering two different camping sites. The first one is a horse meadow throughout the year, the other one a children's playground, which is generously offered to us by the Scheremers (this is what the inhabitants of Scheer are called). So please, keep an eye on leaving the camping site clean and without damages. We'll first fill camping site 1, before we open camping site 2.
Some other important rules and info:
- no open fires!
- we provide garbage bags, you use them (also for cigarettes and stuff). It's as simple as that!
- we've got shower possibilites at the main festival site. also, you just can jump straight into the refreshing water of the danube from both camping sites.
- of course there are also toilets and fresh water
- our second camping site is situated in the middle of Scheer village. Please, keep silence at night.You can party at the festival sites all night long.

4. Festival Shop
For your needs throughout the weekend we've installed a small supermarket this year, where you can get drinks, sweeties, ice and snacks and lot of other small things needed in festival live. The market will be open from friday through sunday, 11 am to 3 pm. Location of the market is still tba.
Additionally, our small village has a Sparkasse, a Volksbank, a bakery and a chemist shop named "Schlecker". Bigger supermarkets are located at Sigmaringen (and theres also a beautiful castle) and at Mengen (they've got a lido too).
5. Children and Families
Klangbad festival wants to be a festival for everyone: also for families. In the upper-swabian wilderness, festival visitors and bands every year create a family-friendly mekka of music.
For this, we have a great and extensive childrens programme, which is offered for free from friday to sunday in the form of different workshops and which leads to a big final childrens show on the main stage on sunday afternoon. Additionally, children and young people up to 14 years are allowed to enter the festival for free.
6. Information for disabled people
The festival area is flat and well accessible when dry. In case of rain, muddy underground and waterlogging may occur.
The way to the parking sites and between festival site and canteen is flat and asphaltic. There, we've got also toilets for disabled people. Both of the canteen areas are unfortunately only reachable through stairs
